Bring one of the most popular feasting menus for the summer to your wedding.
Summer in the UK signals one thing…a barbecue. And what better way to plan an outdoor wedding than to include barbecue catering?
Are you planning a summer wedding and want to keep your evening reception quite low-key? Hiring barbecue catering is the way to go. It’s the perfect option to make the whole experience more personal and unique.
But how do you give it that little bit extra to make it extraordinary? Luckily, we’ve brought in the experts to help.
Jimmy Garcia and his dedicated team create unique dining experiences. From their sold-out pop-up, The BBQ Club, offering an ultimate alfresco dining experience on tabletop BBQ’s on Southbank, to bespoke weddings, canapé events, launch parties, corporate parties, festival catering and much more.
At the heart of all weddings is the true creativity, attention to detail and incredible taste of the food. You can clearly taste the care poured into each dish. Special and different is what they do best and that’s why they love weddings.
Their wedding team start by learning about you as a couple, what makes you tick, what you love to eat and most importantly what would make your day perfect. They then design a menu and a format that’ll suit you down to the ground.
They go to the ends of the earth for their wedding couples, work incredibly hard and deliver amazing meals that will impress all guests. For them, flexibility is key and they love the range of weddings they cater at from festival style food stations to social sharing menus to elegant seated dinners.
So in terms of barbecue catering, what would they recommend to help make your wedding amazing? We asked them to share their advice with you today.
“The most popular in our ‘barbecue range’, the green egg feasting menu presents a great alternative for refined barbecue dining at your wedding. Offering flexibility in its presentation, your wedding breakfast will be cooked on our Green Egg Barbecues and served either sharing style to the centre of each table alongside a selection of fresh & rustic salads and sides for a more interactive form of dining, or can be individually plated with paired garnishes (e.g. ‘Char Ma Lass’ – Miso glazed charred baby aubergines, pomegranate molasses yoghurt, pickled green chili, fresh mint).
It doesn’t stop at savoury food – a favourite dessert that we’ve cooked on our Green Eggs is ‘The BBQ Peach Melba’ served with smashed meringue & coconut pannacotta – YUM!”
“Whether grilling langoustines with parsley & garlic butter to order on our 360 degree hot stone, roasting marshmallows over the open flames for late night S’mores, or even rustling up a ‘survivors breakfast’ for your guests the next day, our Ofyr fire pit will be sure to bring a wow factor to your wedding.
Proposing a unique sensory experience to get your guests talking, the Ofyr is a great addition to any wedding; your guests can interact with our chefs, whilst watching culinary delights cooked before their eyes!”
“New to the Jimmy Garcia family is our BBQ Club Bus. Following the success of our BBQ Club at our flagship pop up on Southbank, as well as others across London, it became apparent that The BBQ Club needed to hit the road! In a beautifully converted 1966 AEG ex-airport fire truck, the BBQ Club Bus has already been booked this summer to travel up and down the country to private events, weddings, as well as festivals.
Offering everything from gourmet lamb & tzatziki kebabs and steak & caramelised onion burgers accompanied of course by our famous chimichurri sauce, to the more refined ‘Hot Smoked salmon & grains’ and ‘Charred broccoli & burrata’, the bus is a great feature at weddings either as the main event or as a part of late night food!”
A barbecue always brings people together. We have no doubt that this would work perfectly for your wedding theme.
