Pantherella

Pantherella first opened its doors in 1937 and began trading as Midlands Hosiery Mills. 80 years later they are still designing and making all our socks in our family owned factory, situated in the same street in Leicester, England, as they were in 1937. Making the world’s finest socks from the world’s most luxurious fibres is the core of what they do. Their expertise and world-renowned craftsmanship have been passed down from generation to generation to ensure that Pantherella socks remain the world’s finest. All Pantherella socks have fine-linked toes for seamless comfort and reinforced heels and toes for durability. Each and every single pair of socks is checked and hand finished by their experienced team to ensure they meet our highest quality standards.

Thom Sweeney

Thom Whiddett was an apprentice cutter at Timothy Everest, where Luke Sweeney headed up the made to measure business. In 2006, the duo decided to intertwine their fates – and names.

The pair initially set up “shop” in a room in London’s Mayfair, where they took private orders. The first Thom Sweeney store proper opened in 2009, on the site of a former art gallery on nearby Weighhouse Street.

Today, the name Thom Sweeney is internationally recognised and whilst their cut is perhaps contemporary by traditional standards, Thom Sweeney is not a designer brand, although some very fashionable people wear it. Thom Sweeney is timeless style with a modern sensibility; they make garments to last years, not seasons.
